Warranty on Custom PC Builds

Our custom-built systems are covered by two layers of protection:

• 1-Year Labor & Workmanship Warranty: This is our direct promise to you. For one full year from the date of purchase, we cover any issue that arises as a direct result of our assembly process. This includes things like troubleshooting hardware conflicts, diagnosing boot issues related to assembly, or fixing a loose cable. We are confident in our build quality, and this warranty backs it up.
• Manufacturer Component Warranty: Every single component in your PC is a high-quality product from a reputable brand, and each one carries its own manufacturer's warranty. We handle the registration and provide you with all the necessary documentation. If a specific part fails during its warranty period, we act as your advocate. We will diagnose the issue to confirm the faulty part and assist you in facilitating the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) process with the manufacturer. Typical warranty lengths include:
  • CPU & Motherboards: Typically 3 years.
  • RAM: Often a limited lifetime warranty.
  • Power Supplies: Range from 5 to 12 years.
  • Graphics Cards (GPU): Typically 3 years.
  • SSDs & Hard Drives: Range from 3 to 5 years.

Warranty on Repair Services

For our repair and diagnostic services, we offer a 90-day warranty on the specific service performed. This means if we replace a component, that new component and the labor for that specific repair are covered for 90 days. For example, if we replace your power supply, and it fails within 90 days, we will replace it again free of charge. This warranty is specific to the repair conducted and does not cover unrelated issues that may arise later.

What Our Warranty Does Not Cover

It is also important to understand the limitations of the warranty. The following are not covered:

• Software-related issues, including operating system corruption, viruses, malware, or driver conflicts not present at the time of delivery.
• Physical damage, accidents, misuse, or any modification to the system performed by anyone other than Currin Custom Computers.
• Damage resulting from electrical surges, lightning, or other external power-related issues. We highly recommend using a quality surge protector.
• Data loss. We strongly advise all clients to maintain regular backups of their important data.
